Sophia is a passionate remedial massage therapist who finds fulfilment in facilitating clients on their journey to becoming pain-free. She joined MMT in late 2018 after leaving behind her life in Sydney to seek personal and professional growth.

Sophia’s introduction to rehab and bodywork began after undergoing knee surgery over 10 years ago (which in hindsight could have been avoided given her current knowledge) and has since been interested in understanding function and dysfunction and the intricacies of the human body.

After completing a Bachelor of Science (Nutrition and metabolism) at the University of Sydney, she later decided to explore remedial massage and bodywork. She has recently completed Neurokinetic Therapy level 1 and is working towards becoming a certified practitioner.

Outside of the clinical setting, Sophia enjoys resistance and bodyweight training and has most recently began to venture into bouldering.
