Jerrick Venezuela

Jerrick is a qualified Sports Therapist who understands movement patterns, posture and tissue healing processes. He is committed to help people treat their pains and dysfunction.

The healing journeys starts from awareness and educating why a specific area is in pain; this might be from physical trauma, posture, stress, muscle imbalances or compensation. Next will be protocols to increase different variables such as mobility, stability or strength – This will bridge the gap from the treatment table into the gym where you will be coached on correct lifting techniques, movement patterns and building a strong robust body.

Previous experience working at AFL North Melbourne Kangaroos Football club and with over 7 years experience in the industry, Jerrick has compounded knowledge and has honed his hands on skills. Using MMT’s signature deep tissue release technique, allowing to thoroughly access into nooks and cranny’s of the muscle that may be blocking flow into the joint and ultimately affecting overall tissue health.

Jerrick has ample amount of experience treating the whole body, key areas he has a keen interest in is lower back, shoulders and hamstrings.

Outside of work Jerrick competes in freestyle wrestling, follows a strict training regime to keep him shape and to prevent significant injuries on the mat. He is interested working with (but not limited to) combat athletes as he’s already within that circle.

He is also passionate in holistic living and nutrition. You can also catch him soaking up the sun at the beach during the summer and eating good food around Melbourne.

I see my hands on skills as an art and I continue to sharpen my craft with each interaction. My goal is to deliver the best hands on treatment you will ever receive and to play a role in your life wherever I can to help deal with your injuries or pain.
