Hamstring Injuries

Hamstring tension and strains commonly occur due to muscular imbalance within structures that attach to, or affect, the pelvis. Prolonged sitting, lack of exercise, improper training programs, and insufficient hands-on treatment cause certain muscle groups to become overactive, short, and tight — while the hamstrings become dormant, long, and weak.

Stretching alone is NOT the solution for someone with long, weak hamstrings. Instead, we use slow and deliberate Deep Tissue Massage to melt away scar tissue, adhesions, and tension that has built up from past injuries. We then combine this with functional glute and hamstring strengthening to eliminate pain, improve strength, and rebuild confidence.
