Meet Jonah
Jiao (Jonah) Li
Jonah graduated from Q Academy with a Diploma of Remedial Massage in Brisbane in 2021. His clinical interest lies in functional, outcome‑focused bodywork, with a particular emphasis on pain management and restoring movement.
In addition to his formal remedial training, Jonah has undertaken further training in Kahuna and Thai massage. These modalities have shaped his hands‑on approach and treatment philosophy, allowing him to work with the body as an integrated system rather than treating symptoms in isolation.
Jonah was introduced to MMT’s intentional, methodical and barefoot therapy principles early in his career while refining pain‑relief strategies for his clients — many of whom reported significant improvements in function and comfort. He believes sustainable health is built on four foundations: regular physical activity, sound nutrition, a curious and adventurous spirit, and effective bodywork.
Jonah provides treatment in both English and Mandarin.
If you’re ready to move better, feel better and break free from pain and dysfunction, book your bodywork session with Jonah today.
What Clients Say About Jonah
“Went in needing intense work on the upper leg which was causing issues with general mobility and stopping me from gym. Jonah was able to assess and have it back functioning normal within two seasons and provided practical exercises to do at home to help maintain it.”

“THE BEST MASSAGE THERAPIST I’VE FOUND IN MELBOURNE FOR CHRONIC NECK AND UPPER BACK PAIN! ... He is incredibly methodical, technical and precise... I was initially nervous about booking with a male massage therapist because I had previously had experiences where I didn’t feel completely comfortable. Jonah was the complete opposite. He was exceptionally respectful, professional and attentive throughout the entire session, and I felt completely comfortable and safe.”
