Often, treatment is needed at the site of pain in the elbow and forearm. In addition, treatment is sometimes needed further up the arm and into the shoulder and neck. Tension caused by poor posture, improper biomechanics or previous injury, could cause tension and pain within the tricep, bicep, deltoid, rotator cuff, and cervical spine, which could be exacerbating your Tennis Elbow. Initially, rest is required with treatment to the muscles in the forearm. Compression bandaging and bracing around these muscles can often help with alleviating symptoms. Moving forward, deeper treatment to the entire arm is needed, before strength training will be prescribed to build stability in weak points of the arm.
