Josh has a passion for helping people and is an advocate for living a healthy lifestyle. Growing up Josh always would be found in a sporting environment, spending over a decade as a competitive swimmer, training at one of Australia’s best swimming clubs, Nunawading. Josh in his swimming journey was fortunate enough to race at Australian championship level for the majority of his career and therefore understands the immense training loads high performance athletes undergo.

Because of his sport he has received many treatments in the past from different physicians and it is the benefit that he experienced from these treatments that transitioned his career into becoming a massage therapist/bodyworker.

Josh studied a Bachelor of Exercise Sport Science at Australian Catholic University and after graduating followed up with a Diploma of Remedial Massage from Victoria University.

During his massage course, Josh was lucky enough to complete placement hours with the Western Bulldogs AFL and AFLW teams, treating players post training and occasionally on game days whilst learning from some of the best in the business. Whilst in his first year of clinic practice Josh was looking at ways to upskill, and in doing so is now also qualified to perform cupping and myofascial dry needling treatment.

In his pursuit to learn more, Josh stumbled across the MMT youtube channel and used it as a reference to aid his treatment before finally booking in to experience the work first hand.

Josh is a big believer in “knowledge is power”, is always seeking new and more effective methods of treating different conditions and getting you back to doing what you love to do.
